You must provide evidence of the degree with one of the following:

  • A photo of your physical bachelor’s degree
  • A copy of your official transcript from your institution
  • A verification letter (signed, sealed or watermarked) from your institution’s registrar’s office
  • Yes it is valid.

No commitment, you can work as much or as little as you want.

Yes you can! Flexibility is one of the best advantages when teaching at StarlyKID.

StarlyKID sets no limits on how much a teacher can teach – you have 100% control over your schedule. However, off-peak hours may not be popular with our students as they are not available for classes (possibly because they are in school or asleep). Please also note that as students and parents get to know and try out new teachers, the time required to achieve a relatively stable class flow may vary.

  • The best opportunity to make a reservation is between 18:00 – 03:00, which are the busiest times.
  • If you open your time slot and set everything up correctly, just be a little patient. A great profile picture, a super fun video, and a detailed description can also help.
  • If you are not available to teach or want to take some time off, simply close your schedule during the holidays. Remember, you determine your own schedule.

StarlyKID teachers earn $7 per lesson or $14 per hour.

StarlyKID signs a 1-year contract with our teachers.

Although StarlyKID fully exposes students to the foreign language taught, teachers are required to have an advanced level of English in order to understand what children say and to communicate with parents when they cannot express themselves in Turkish.< /span>

You can work with us from almost anywhere as long as you have a stable internet connection.

Applicants go through five stages before becoming an instructor:

  • Introduction to Teaching: Watch videos to learn about StarlyKID technology, standards, and curriculum.
  • Practice class: Practice teaching a full-length class with one of our StarlyKID teachers.
  • Sign your contract, upload documents and complete: The information you provide will help us comply with our online safety and security standards and create a profile that allows students and their parents to get to know and book you.

At StarlyKID, lessons are one-on-one and group lessons for a maximum of 3 people.

No, our office staff will handle this for you.

We have developed our own state-of-the-art platform to facilitate our one-on-one lessons.

Teachers are paid via direct bank deposit between the 15th and 20th of each month.

Each class is guaranteed 25 minutes of active teaching time. After that, it may take a few minutes for teachers to leave a comment. Total time commitment is 30 minutes per class, excluding prep time. Three minutes are also allowed for possible technical issues before a lesson is cancelled.

It is recommended that teachers enter their weekly availability one month in advance. Teachers can be booked for lessons on weekdays, at least 24 hours in advance. We encourage all teachers to check their email and schedule daily.

Earnings are calculated based on the number of classes you teach and your base pay rate per class, which is $7 per class. Since the lessons are 25 minutes each, you can earn $14 per hour.

StarlyKID, you sign 12-month contracts with teachers and can work as little or as much as you want.

We do not withhold taxes from independent contractors. As independent contractors, you are responsible for your own taxes in accordance with individual tax laws.

Thanks to the reference system, you earn two lesson fee bonuses for every new teacher you recruit to StarlyKID.

Only StarlyKID teachers and teacher candidates can participate in the reference system.

When you become a reference, you can send an e-mail to the StarlyKID e-mail address for flyers, images, creatives and blog materials that will help with your promotion.

Your partnership premium fee will be deposited into your account after each teacher you bring to our online language school as a reference completes their first month with their first student.
